Summer Mini-Trials are open to everyone and are a great opportunity for new handlers and/or dogs to get experience in a small trial setting. If you are unsure about entering a trial, please ask your current instructor if you are ready. You can also, check out “Is Your Team Ready” at https://tinyurl.com/Is-Your-Team-Ready Mini-Trials are a laidback version of a regular trial. Due to the summer heat, the trials are held at night with a start time around 6:30pm. Like regular season trials, you may request a Trial Mentor to help you during the Mini-Trials. You can request a Trial Mentor by emailing the Trial Secretary. Mini-Trial premiums are found on the JCAC website under events or go to the link here; https://www.jumpingchollas.com/trials-events

VTs are another wonderful opportunity for new handlers and dogs to get experience in running full courses in a laidback atmosphere. The cost to sign up and run in a VT is $5/dog and will need to be paid when you arrive. Please bring exact payment as change may not be available. Each dog will get 2 runs during a VT.
